Chris Collins

Senior Vice President of Product and Technology Enablement at NXP Semiconductors

Chris joined NXP, in January 2014, and is responsible for creating and managing the execution engine of the company’s new products and technologies, partnering with the business units to deliver innovation in automotive, consumer, industrial and networking.

Chris has more than 28 years of semiconductor industry experience in a variety of engineering, technology and leadership roles including design engineering, EDA/design enablement, product/test engineering, and operations. At Texas Instruments, Chris helped build the Analog and Mixed-Signal Business, and he started his career as a circuit design engineer at Advanced Microelectronics. His strengths and expertise includes leading through change and organizational development, along with a proven track record of driving successful mergers and acquisitions.

Chris is a regular keynote speaker and panelist at semiconductor industry conferences and events. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University.
